RAILWAY TERMS

  • 4BOJ: The undercarriage of the locomotive or wagon that carries the wheel axles.
  • KURP: The measure (bend) of the parts that are built curvilinearly, mostly in the parts that turn on the railways, expressed by the diameter.
  • DERAY: Derailment of railway vehicles.
  • KARAMBOL: Collision of railway vehicles with each other.
  • DEVER: The difference in height given to the outer rail compared to the inner rail on the curves on the road.
  • SÜREKARTMAN: Too much clearance given to the road on the curves.
